World of Horror is a 1-bit horror role-playing game painted in Microsoft Paint. World of Horror is inspired by the works of renowned manga artist Junji Ito and writer Howard Lovecraft. It is a psychological thriller set in the eerie streets of a Japanese seaside city with an intricate plot. Co-writing with panstasz is Cassandra Khaw, whose portfolio includes Hammers on Bone, Wasteland 3, Sunless Skies and She Remembered Caterpillars.
World of Horror is set in a Japanese seaside town, where the end of the world comes after the awakening of the ancient gods. The population is filled with madness, and the city is overrun with nightmarish monsters.
World of Horror is not going to scare you with the usual screamers. Instead, as five playable characters, we have to explore a new nightmare reality from different points of view. Players will fight the creatures of darkness in turn-based battles. And all the discoveries will add up to a deck of events, which will not only strengthen the heroes in battle, but also reveal the secrets of the world or give new hints.
